Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technology used on reshapelandscaping.co.uk, which is run by Reshape Landscaping Ltd. Please read it alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to work and stay secure. Others help us understand how the site is used and measure our adverts, and these are only set if you agree.
2. Your choices
When you first visit, the cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies or choose by category. Nothing non-essential is set until you choose. You can change your choice at any time by selecting Cookie settings, which is also at the foot of each page.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the site such as the enquiry forms may not work.
3. Cookies we use
Essential – always on
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| cmplz_ cookies (for example cmplz_statistics and cmplz_marketing) | Reshape Landscaping Ltd | Remembers your cookie choices so the banner does not appear on every page | 365 days |
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Set when needed to tell people from automated bots and protect the site | 30 minutes |
| _GRECAPTCHA | Google reCAPTCHA | Protects our enquiry forms from spam | 6 months |
Analytics – only if you accept
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors so we can count them and see which pages are used | 2 years |
| _ga_ followed by an ID | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your current visit | 2 years |
Marketing – only if you accept
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Measures whether a visit from one of our adverts leads to an enquiry | 90 days |
| _gcl_aw | Google Ads | Stores the advert click when you arrive from a Google advert | 90 days |
| IDE | Google (doubleclick.net) | Remarketing and advert measurement, so we can show our adverts to people who have visited the site | 13 months |
| Google Maps cookies (such as NID) | Set by Google when the map of the areas we cover loads | Up to 6 months |
4. Google consent mode
We use Google consent mode. Until you accept, Google Analytics and Google Ads are told not to store or read cookies on your device. Google may still receive basic information that does not identify you, such as that a page was viewed, which it uses to estimate visits and advert results.
5. Other content on the site
- Google reviews – shown through Trustindex, which loads the reviews from its own servers.
- WhatsApp – the WhatsApp button is a link. WhatsApp receives nothing until you use it.
- Social media – the Facebook, Instagram and Houzz icons are links. Those sites only receive information if you follow the link.
6. Changes and contact
We review this policy when we add or remove a service and update the date at the top. For questions, contact us at info@reshapelandscaping.co.uk or 07894 517 318.
